Conditions

The entire range of cardiological problems are managed within our group.
This includes patients experiencing chest discomfort, breathlessness and common palpitations such as atrial fibrillation (AF) as well as high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol levels.
We have specific expertise in cardiac screening of athletes and patients with potential rare inherited cardiac conditions.

Diagnostic Tests

We have access to state of the art diagnostic facilities including live 3D echocardiography (cardiac ultrasound), ultra-fast CT scanning as well as cardiac MRI and regularly use these techniques to obtain an accurate picture of each patient’s cardiac health.

Procedures

We undertake the entire range of cardiac interventional and surgical procedures.
Cardiac interventional procedures include coronary angiography / angioplasty, heart valve intervention (such as TAVI and Mitra-Clip) as well as PFO / ASD closure and LAA occlusion to prevent stroke.
Surgical procedures include the entire range of open and endoscopic valve replacement / repair and CABG surgery.

State of the art cardiac care

London Cardiac and Vascular Associates is a leading private cardiac and cardiothoracic clinic in central London.  The clinic was founded by four senior physicians and surgeons with the sole aim of providing cutting edge medical care.

The ethos of our group is to ensure that all patients are managed through a multidisciplinary approach.  Our cardiology and cardiac surgical teams work closely with one another and all complex cases are discussed at a Heart Team meeting on weekly basis.

Most conditions are managed on an out-patient basis.  However, should there be a need for admission to hospital the group has admission rights to some of the most prestigious private hospitals across London.

Our Patient Journey Explained

The group treats patients from across the UK as well as international patients.

Patients from within the UK can be referred by their GP or contact the practice directly for a consultation.

International patients are encouraged to contact the group prior to travel to the UK in order that consultations and diagnostic tests can be planned in advance to minimise delay.
